Tenancy
An agreement to rent a residential premise between landlord and tenant.
Lessor: Gives a lease for exclusive possession for a specific term.
Leasee: Accepts the lease.
Punjabi (ਪੰਜਾਬੀ): ਇੱਕ ਕਿਰਾਏ ਦੀ ਇੱਕ ਰਹਿਣਸ਼ੀਲ ਥਾਂ ਦੀ ਇੱਕ ਸਮਝੌਤਾ ਮਾਲਕ ਅਤੇ ਕਿਰਾਏਦਾਰ ਦਰਮਿਆਨ। ਕਿਰਾਏਦਾਰ: ਵਿਸ਼ੇਸ਼ ਅਵਧੀ ਲਈ ਅਨੁਸਾਰੀ ਨਿਵਾਸ ਲਈ ਇੱਕ ਕਿਰਾਏ ਦਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ। ਕਿਰਾਏਦਾਰ: ਕਿਰਾਏ ਨੂੰ ਮਨਜ਼ੂਰ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ।

Korean (한국어): 임대인과 임차인 간의 주택 임대 계약서. 임대인: 특정 기간 동안 배타적 소유권을 위한 임대 계약을 제공합니다. 임차인: 임대 계약을 수락합니다.
Farsi (فارسی): یک توافقنامه اجاره یک محل اقامتی بین مالک و مستأجر. مالک: یک قرارداد اجاره برای مالکیت انحصاری برای یک مدت مشخص ارائه میدهد. مستأجر: قرارداد اجاره را پذیرفته است.

Common-Law Judicial Precedent
Commercial Tenancies are governed by Common Law. They include renting such things as warehouses, office spaces, storefronts, etc.

Korean (한국어): 상업 임대는 일반 법률에 따라 규제됩니다. 이는 창고, 사무 공간, 상점 등을 임대하는 것을 포함합니다.
Farsi (فارسی): اجارههای تجاری توسط قانون معمولی حاکم شدهاند. آنها شامل اجاره اشیاءی مانند انبارها، ادارات، فروشگاهها و غیره میشود.
Hindi (हिन्दी): वाणिज्यिक किराए आम कानून द्वारा नियंत्रित होते हैं। इनमें गोदाम, ऑफिस स्थान, स्टोरफ्रंट आदि किराए पर लेना शामिल है।
Statute-Law-In-British-Columbia
Residential Tenancies are governed by Statute Law and the Residential Tenancy Act. They include renting spaces that are regarding as “a rental unit”, which is a space regarded as, accommodation being rented or intended to be rented as a tenant.
However, there are some spaces that may seem residential but are not governed by the Residential Tenancy Act. Such accommodations as:

accommodation used as a vacation rental or travel.

a tenancy agreement exceeding 20 years.
-
accommodation rented by a not-for-profit housing cooperative.

Tagalog: Pinapamahalaan ng Batas ng Statute at ng Batas sa Tenancy ang mga Residential Tenancies. Kasama dito ang pag-uupahan ng mga espasyo na itinuturing na “isang rental unit”, na isang espasyo na itinuturing, tuluyang pansamantalang tinutukoy o inirerekomenda bilang isang espasyo na upahan bilang isang umuupa. Gayunpaman, may ilang espasyo na maaaring tila residential ngunit hindi pinamamahalaan ng Batas sa Tenancy. Residential tenancy agreements need to be in writing, signed and dated by both parties to be legally binding. They are subject to the Residential Tenancy Regulation. They must be in an easy-to-read format and be simple enough for an “average” person to understand. Section 13 of the Act requires certain sentences and terms to be included in each residential tenancy agreement. These are as follows;
- Legal names of the Landlord and ALL Tenants.
- The address of the unit being rented.
- The date on which the tenancy starts, and the date in which the tenancy agreement was entered into.
- If the tenancy is based on a Fixed, or Periodic basis.
- The landlord’s contact information for services or repair issues.
- Any terms that need to be followed pertaining to the lease.
- The amount of rent due and damage/pet deposit.
- What is included in the rent (hydro, internet, parking, laundry etc.)
